I'd Chime In Haven't You Ever Heard Of Closing The GODDAMNED DOOR!

I don't know what to make of this. Seriously, is nothing sacred anymore? I remember Monkeyspit telling me "Hey dude, you should buy seaofhumanity.net and seaofhumanity.org just to keep out the riff raff." But did I? No... I decided I would save a few bucks.. I mean seriously, www.seaofhumanity.net, who is going to take that address. At least that is what I thought.

Well, I will tell you who would take that domain. A four piece progressive christian rock band from Missouri, that's who. So far, the band consists of guitar, drums, piano, bass, and an enormous list of influences. Aww yeah..

Hey I got nothing against rock bands. But I have never been a fan of progressive christian rock bands. No matter how many influences they may or may not have. I have always felt that christian rock bands tend to be clichéd derivatives of popular rock bands and tend not to have original sounds of their own. And if they are super evangelical then forget it.

In my mind there is only one christian rock band that could truly lay claim to being a "rock band". Stryper. End of story. Who could ever forget Stryper's epic albums Soldiers under Command and To Hell with the Devil? They rocked. They were so cool, even their name stood for something: "Salvation Through Redemption, Yielding Peace, Encouragement, and Righteousness."

Anyways, check it, Sea of Humanity (the progressive christian rock band, not us) has released its debut album: "Beginnings" and it is out now. Go buy it or something.

Pernicious.. Pulling his punches, biting his tongue and panicking at the disco.

I can't take a well-tanned person seriously.
